I have found FUNDAMENTAL ECONOMICS TEXTBOOK FOR SENIOR HIGH SCHOOLS IN W/A by Seiba Issifu very amazing. The book is written in a simple language and covers all topics and issues in both W.A.E.C. and G.E.S. economics syllabus. More interesting is the fact that, it has featured all past examination questions from 1993 up to date as well as future likely examination questions which provide opportunity for students to practice. In fact, this book tops all the economics books I have used as economics teacher over the past eight years. For the past three years, my students at Presbyterian Senior High School, Tamale have been using this book and I have seen dramatic improvement in their performance and general attitude towards learning economics. I therefore recommend this great book to all economics teachers as well as students offering economics at the senior high school level in Ghana.

I worked directly under the author as a mentee during my one-year mandatory internship as a student teacher at Northern School of Business, Tamale. I was given a copy by the author and in fact, the book was just what I was looking for: a great way to quickly and painlessly understand and teach seemingly difficult topics to average students. Before meeting the author face to face, I have looked for some time trying to find a textbook written in a simple language, with more illustrations on topics involving calculations and diagrams study and haven’t had much success.
