APL publishes its books under a brand name, Asco Series. The goal of the publishing department in the next ten years is to publish quality books for all subjects at the senior high, junior high, and primary levels. We will achieve this goal by working with experts in the various subject areas across the various levels who have the passion for writing and a dream to see their beautiful ideas turned into a book.

Our initial focus was on writing and publication of motivational and personal development books that teach young people the key values, skills, and habits for achieving great results in school and beyond but which are hardly taught in the classroom. The Asco Series is the pioneer when it comes to books on study habits and test-taking skills in Ghana. Three of our books: How To Study Smarter and Succeed Academically: What I Wish I Knew Before Completing School (250 pages, published in 2014), The Desire to Succeed: How Great Achievers Succeeded and Powerful Lessons for Young People (126 pages, published in 2015) and The Secret to Getting Excellent Grades in School: The Master Secrets on How to Write Any Competitive Examination in School and Get Excellent Results Much Faster Than You Ever Thought Possible (126 pages, published in 2017) has produced real miracles in the lives of tens of thousands of students in Ghana and beyond.

The Asco Series also has course-based books at the senior high school and junior high school levels in Ghana. Currently, the Asco Series has the best-selling and most popular, well-researched book on economics, titled “Fundamental Economics Textbook for Senior High Schools in West Africa.” The 702-page book has established itself since its release in 2013 as the only comprehensive, multi-purpose, and self-tutorial book in Ghana that gives students access to all topics covered in the economics syllabus and all past examination questions from 1993 to date and goes the extra mile to teach them the secrets to studying economics smarter.
